About

Jeong (Lynn Stransky) is an interdisciplinary Korean American artist and community organizer based in Los Angeles. As an interracial adoptee, she explores how racial identity is constructed through deconstructing her own relationship to the Korean diaspora and her distinctly American upbringing. She examines how our collective consciousness and contemporary zeitgeists intersect with our innate desire for belonging. Jeong seeks to foster community, compassion, and radical kindness towards a revolutionary restructuring of the status quo. Her work has been featured in Thrillist, The Pomonan, and FGUK Magazine, and at the McDonough Museum of Art, among others. Additionally, she serves as a delegate to the CDP Convention for Assembly District 54, as business representative to the Wilshire Center Koreatown Neighborhood Council, and on the LGBTQ+ Alliance of Neighborhood Councils.
